De Awardorganisatie in Nederland (en wereldwijd) werkt samen verschillende organisaties zoals Scouting Nederland, Bureau HALT en het Rode Kruis.
NIEUW! Memorandum of Understanding Award en Europese Judobond
Tijdens de Europese kampioenschappen judo in april 2010 tekende de Award een Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) met de Europese Judobond om in de toekomst samen sportieve activiteiten onder jongeren te bevorderen. De Nederlandse Awardorganisatie liep een aantal jaar geleden al op de zaken vooruit door Olympisch kampioen Mark Huizinga te vragen om ambassadeur te worden voor het project. Hij legt de Engelstalige pers uit waarom hij dit zo belangrijk vindt:
"As a judoka I have worked hard to achieve my goals. In doing so I found myself in a position to inspire and motivate others. For some years now I have been an ambassador of the International Award in the Netherlands. I have experienced that the Award helps young people to discover the world, exploit their talents, meet other people, build confidence and pride and, last but not least, give something back to their own community. The Award programme shares the values of the spirit of judo."
